Housing Committee
Housing Committee
The OSAC Housing Committee educates and advocates about housing access for people with disabilities. Areas of focus include educating about the benefits of independent living, what people with disabilities can do when they suspect housing discrimination, and support for people with disabilities to find and maintain housing in the community.
We do this by:
- Supporting community action for accessible, affordable housing
- Reporting housing discrimination
- Helping create an accessible housing registry
Employment Committee
We believe that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities should have living wage jobs in their communities.
Healthcare Committee
We believe that all people have the right to access good quality, affordable health care services.
Legislative Committee
OSAC’s Legislative Committee creates legislative goals for the upcoming sessions.
